Pretty Little Locs is a hair salon that exclusively specializes in microlocs installation and maintenance. We provide our clients with luxurious and beautiful microlocs that they will love. Transitioning to any types of locs is a big step and every loc journey is an individual experience; and we are honored to share in your journey!
I'm Kendra K. the owner and Master Micro-Loctician here at Pretty Little Locs Salon & Institute. I am a registered braider with over a decade of experience with hair various types of braiding. I myself have worn many braid styles but there was something about microlocs that I fell in love with and that love lead me to open Pretty Little Locs. Going through my own loc journey was an beautiful experience; that I take pride in sharing in others journey. Seeing your hair transform and begin to lock, teaches patience and consistency. It also a journey of self-confidence, self-love and a celebration of hair freedom. You installation is typically a 2 day process with each day being 6 to 8 hours long. You can expect the following at your installation appt:

Consultation is required for all new clients. Consultation is non-refundable. Installations Based on your natural hair length, thickness, etc.

Retightening of your locs should be done every 4 to 6 weeks. (Includes shampooing)$195 (3 hours) + $25 for each additional hour+ $50 for overgrowth (8 week or more)
If your grid requires redefining the parts there will be an additional charge to your service.$75

Microlocs installations require $200 non-refundable deposit. Retightening appointments requires a $50 non-refundable deposit. Salon-only services requires $25 non-refundable deposit. Deposits are deducted from final payment.
We accept debit/credit card payments ONLY through our payment system. No CASH or CASHAPP or Zelle accepted. Full Payment is due at the START of your appointment. Ask about our Pretty Way-to-Pay options
Cancellations 72hrs in advance is appreciated. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Must be paid before rescheduling. Habitual cancellations will forfeit your client status. Please communicate with us if you are running late. It's $1 late fee for every minute past your schedule appointment time. After 15 minutes we reserve the right to cancel your appointment. Habitual tardiness will forfeit your client status.
You may reschedule your appointment ONCE without incurring an additional deposit or rescheduling fee. Second cancellation and rescheduling of same appointment will incur a rescheduling fee of $35. Third cancellation forfeits your deposit and appointment completely; you will need to pay a new deposit to book. After 3 consecutive cancellations your forfeit your client status.
No refunds on any services or deposit. If you are dissatisfied with a service we will do our best to make it right.
Most appointments are an hour or more. Please do not bring extra people or children to your appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS! You will be asked to reschedule and charged a $35 rescheduling fee.
